JOT [Just One Touch] is a project of the School of Communications.  Our goal is to provide creative K - 12th grade service opportunity resources for parents and teachers.   We believe that service should be instinctive with children - and that comes with training and seeing modeled a heart to serve in His name.   


JOT is a resource for the Lyceum Challenge.
Lyceum Challenge is designed for high school students  Students create a solidarity group and spend the first semester discussing a current topic impacting our culture.  This year we will be looking at Restorative Justice:  Remembering the Names in God's Dream for the World.
During semester 2 students will design a "lemonade stand" based on their responses to discussions concerning the Christian's response to oppression.  Students will access JOT when deciding how to respond to God's dream for the world.

Just One Touch...using our time, talents and resources to minister to those around us.  What an amazing journey you will embark on with your students!  My heart is missions; in our communities and stretching to a global impact.  God asks us to be His hands and His feet.  When we love those around us we reflect Christ to our world.  What greater gift can we give to young people than to help them fall in love with Christ as they watch Him work through them.  Their lives will be forever changed, and therefore, we are changing the generations beyond them.  Use these resources to engage your students and by doing so, you will change the lives of those you serve.   Enjoy the journey!
