Reading Buddies

You don't always have to be a part of a large organization to serve those around you.  Encourage your students to begin right where they are!


Talk to a Kindergarten or First Grade teacher and partner with them to create a Reading Buddies program.  This not only encourages your students' oral reading skills but it also creates a love of reading in younger students and allows them to improve their reading and fluency skills.  You never know who needs someone to look up to!
